Task goals
- Read a percentage directly off a pie chart's sectors and convert it into an actual amount using the chart's stated total.
- Read a pictogram's key and convert an icon count (including a partial icon) into a real quantity, and the reverse.
- Combine reading a chart with a second calculation step: a difference, a total, or a comparison between categories or rows.
- Find the total of a raw-count (non-percentage) pie chart before calculating a percentage or angle.
- Calculate a sector's angle from its percentage or frequency (angle = fraction x 360 degrees), and work backwards from an angle to a percentage or frequency.
