Task goals
- Calculate gradient from rise and run using the formula $\text{gradient} = \frac{\text{rise}}{\text{run}}$.
- Find gradient from two points on a line using $\text{gradient} = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}$.
- Interpret gradient from tables and patterns to determine the rate of change.
- Identify whether a line goes up (positive gradient) or down (negative gradient).
- Compare steepness of lines by comparing gradient values.
