Task goals
- Find a missing numeric angle around a point, given the other angles, using the fact that angles around a point sum to $360^\circ$.
- Find each of several equal angles that together make a full turn around a point.
- Solve for an unknown $x$ when the angles around a point are given as algebraic expressions.
- Solve angles-around-a-point problems where the angles are given as a ratio.
- Solve multi-step problems combining algebraic expressions and word descriptions (e.g. one angle twice another, a third angle offset from another) that together make a full turn.
- Identify and explain the error in a diagram or statement where the given angles around a point do not sum to $360^\circ$.
